How much does it cost to support your business technology?
The answer is one that your tech company should know, not you, but too often you are left with the question unanswered until the end of the year when you take the time to add up the invoices. Greenlight Tech is different. We have the experience to know what it will cost to support you up front. We've been doing this a long time. Our process is to spend time listening to what you want and then tell you what it will cost to provide that over the year. Just imagine going through a year without unexpected spending. No surprises.
We give options if necessary - maintaining the existing environment versus changing certain parts of it at the start. Sometimes it makes sense to spend the money on buying a new thing rather than spending the same amount on maintaining an old one. Like always our job is to set it up right, maintain it properly, and replace it before it fails and causes downtime - not after.
Unlike most hourly charging or banked-hours based service companies, we don't profit from our client's misfortune. If something that a client depends on is "down" we don't "make more money" as the hours tick by - the contrary is true. As we aren't charging by the hour it's in our best interest to address your requests fully, effeciently, and relying as little as possible on follow up appointments. Our business demands that we take the time to do IT right the first time rather than overscheduling a day of appointments that need to be half completed as they are rushed through.
After an assessment of your network we provide an agreement. It indicates our service deliverables tailored to your company. We are often asked for a list what is and is not covered under our flat rate. Here are some examples:
Service that is covered: Regular service visits, requested service visits, 24/7 monitoring, 12x7 Priority Care support, on request consulting, annual budget report, annual ticket report, annual network audit report, online ticket tracking, service coming from <5% employee growth in a year, all services listed on our services page, if (for example) a service/server goes down and we need to spend time recovering from backup or otherwise restoring.
Service that is not covered: Training or issues resulting from lack of training, natural disasters, theft, additional charges dealing with 3rd parties.
Our rates are not at a premium; they are comparable to what companies are already paying for IT support. This is because Greenlight Tech does IT right.
